<h1>Helen Garner</h1> 1923 – 2010 Passed away at the WestMount Long Term Care Centre in Kitchener on April 10, 2010 at the age of 86 years. Loving mother of Jim Garner (Joan), Jean Shannon (Bill) and Judy McBride (John). Dear grandmother of Jenn Seehaver (Bryan), Stephanie Shannon, Jayne MacLean, Chris Garner (Kathleen), Jessica Suckert (Jonathan), Blair McBride, Kathryn McBride, and Ian McBride. Special great-grandmother to Abbey and Jillian Seehaver, Josh and Jorja Shannon, Mary and Sarah Garner and Kristy, Spencer and Breanna MacLean. Lovingly remembered by Wendy Garner. Helen was predeceased by her husband Tom, her parents Lavina and Edward Kraemer, and mother- and father-in-law, Margaret and Tom Sr. Also predeceased by six sisters: Lucy Ireland (Bill), Eleanor Snyder (Ed), Ann Simon (Mike), Rita House (Allan), Mary Lehrer (Peter), and three brothers in infancy. Cremation has taken place. Helen was a resident of The WestMount, where she made many wonderful friends who will be dearly remembered. She was also a longtime member of Knox Presbyterian Church. Helen and Tom were both involved in the Kinsman and Kinette service clubs, and were involved in Oktoberfest for many years. Friends are invited to share their memories of Helen with her family during visitation at the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Friday April 16, 2010 from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday April 17 at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of the Funeral Home. Rev. Brooke and Linda Ashfield officiating. Reception to follow the service at the Funeral Home. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
