Obituary of Gladys Quackenbush

<h1>Gladys Quackenbush</h1> 1923 - 2008 Gladys died at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Thursday, April 10, 2008, in her 85th year. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Tom Quackenbush of Baden and Lynda Popovich of St. Catharines and her close friend, Russ Bonner and his family of Kitchener. Gladys is also survived by grandchildren, Bill, Philip, Ryan, Jason, David; great-grandchildren, Brianna, William, Parker, Chase, Emily and Landan and her brothers and sisters, Roy McBey and his wife Jessie, Mable Luke, Violet Benvie and Ella and her husband Cliff Shepherd. She was predeceased by her parents, Lily and George McBey and seven brothers and sisters. Gladys was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Waterloo Branch 530 and the Women’s Auxiliary. Friends and relatives are invited to share their memories of Gladys with her family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. There will be a service at the funeral home on Sunday evening at 7 p.m. led by the Waterloo Legion. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday, April 14, 2008 at 4 p.m. Cremation will follow. Following the service, friends and relatives are invited to the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home for a time to visit with the family.
