Obituary of Vivan Black

Black, Vivian-1951-2010 Passed away after a brief illness on Friday, November 12, 2010 at the Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre, age 59 years. Vivian was a dedicated nurse for 33 years at the Grand River Hospital. Loving wife and best friend of James Black; dear mother of Kristen Ericson , Laurie (George) Georgopoulos, Julie (Henry) Monteforte and Richard (Rose) Black. Dear grandmother of Harry, Jesse, Adrian and Alia. Will be sadly missed by her sister Kathryn (David) Flood and step sisters Linda Charron, Sandra Lennox and step brothers John Lennox and Earle Lennox. Auntie Viv will be fondly remembered by nieces, Michele, Meghan and nephew Kevin. Predeceased by her father Robert Pfanner, mother Gladys Gallagher, step-mother Kathleen Pfanner and a sister Colleen Land. Friends are invited to share their memories of Vivian during memorial visitation on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 from 7-9 p.m. at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo. The Memorial Service to celebrate her life will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 4 p.m. with a reception to follow in the Fireside Reception Room. Cremation has taken place with interment in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
