Obituary of Mary Witzel

Mom, Granny, our biggest fan - passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Tuesday November 23rd 2010 at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, in her 91st year. Mary will be missed by her large and loving family; Mary Anne Witzel (JimWalker), Marilyn (Arthur Angus), Margaret (Rick Sellner), Ted (Andrea), Tim (Lauri), Terry (Mardi) and grandchildren; Richard (Melissa), Tim (Hayley), Jamie (Pam) and Andrew Sellner, Ted Jr., Charlie, Samantha and Reid Joseph Witzel, Christina and George Witzel, and Caroline, Jack, Terry Jr. and Michael Witzel, and great-grandchildren Matthew and Brooklyn, Special thanks to her caregivers Christ Belleth and Florida Barit-Tuason. Mary will now be joining her husband Ted in heaven. Mom (Granny), our biggest fan. She was predeceased by her parents, Mabel (Fleischauer) and Joseph Zuber; brother Joseph Zuber and sister Gloria Dietrich. Friends are invited to call at the family home, 156 John Boulevard West, Waterloo, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Mary's life and faith will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, Waterloo, on Friday, November 26, 2010, 11 am, with Rev. Edward Sheridan as celebrant. Immediately following the service, friends and relatives are invited to Westmount Golf and Country Club for lunch and a time to visit with the family. A family interment service will take place at Christ Church Gregory Cemetery, Port Carling.
