Obituary of Maria Sgro

Mary passed away, peacefully, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at the age of 85. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Vince Sgro on July 1, 2000. Dear mother of Carlo Sgro and his wife Zina Bartolotta. Nana will be sadly missed by grandchildren Misha, Andy, Jamie, and Kathleen. Also survived by her brother, Frank Doria and his wife Margaret of Toronto. Predeceased by her sister, Maria (Tota) Romeo. Mary's family will receive relatives and friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, December 2 from 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael's RC Church, 240 Hemlock St. (at University Ave.) Waterloo on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Cornelius J. O'Mahoney officiating. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. A reception will follow at the parish hall.
