Obituary of Doris Perrin

Passed away on Friday December 31st, 2010 in her 83rd year having faced her cancer with dignity. Born October 14, 1928 in Listowel, Ontario, daughter of the late Luella and James Harkes. Predeceased by her husband of 53 years Cecil Perrin (2001) and a son, Donald James (1990). Dear mother of Susanne (Bill) Robinson and Cyndy (Laverne) Ermel. Beloved grandmother of Patricia, Heather and Catherine (Kevin Snieder) Robinson, Jennifer (Andrew) Matheson, and Jill and Travis Ermel. Great grandmother of Caleb Matheson. Predeceased by her brothers Jack Harkes and Gordon (Hilda) Harkes and sister Betty Smith. Survived by her brother Harold (Hazel) Harkes, sisters Doreen (George) Troyer, Sherrin (Claude) Digulla, sister in law June Quenneville, and brother in law Terry Smith. She will be missed also by many nieces, nephews, Frankly Scarlett ladies and friends. Friends may visit with the family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Sunday, January 2, 2011 from 1 -1:45 p.m. The memorial service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 2 p.m., with Rev. Ruth Ann Breithaupt officiating. Reception will immediately follow the service.
