Obituary of Verna Hoch

Verna passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Sunday, January 9, 2011 in her 92nd year. She was a former resident of the Marian Residence in Cambridge. Predeceased by her husband, Clarence Hoch in 1996. Loving mother of Carol Rath and her husband James of Whitefish Falls, Ontario and Marilyn Gould and her husband Doug of Waterloo. Grandmother of Christine Bradley, Cathy Williams, Tom Saloman, Tracey Wilkin, Trevor Gould, Terry Rath, and Vicky Noble. Great-grandmother of Peggy, Taylor, Alyssa, Blake, Connor, Kierra, Karlie, Jesse, Nicola, Cory, Sarah, Eric, Brett, and Toby. Great-great-grandmother of Emily and Aava. Verna was very proud of her five-generation family. Predeceased by her parents, Clements and Odilia (Reinhardt) Bruder and seven brothers and sisters. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Verna during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, January 12 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 11 a.m. A reception will immediately follow the service at the funeral home.
