Obituary of Robert Weber

Passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on January 11, 2011 while at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, at the age of 63, following a brief illness. Cherished husband of Helen for 41 years. Devoted father of Alicia and Craig (Sari). Beloved grandfather of Emily. Dear son of Nelson Weber (Anna Shantz) of St. Jacobs. Robert will be sadly missed by his siblings Marcy (Akiie) Ninomiya, Clare (Linda) Weber, Brenda (Murray) Calder, Donna Weber (Paul), and Susan (Bill) Schmitz, sister-in-law Peggy Fraser as well as his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother Lovina. Robert was an active member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Kitchener. He spent many years as a volunteer with the Boy Scouts and Neighbourhood Watch. He worked in the corrugated paper industry first in Kitchener, and later in Burlington. In recent years he thoroughly enjoyed his part-time job and hobby as a driver for Ayr Coach Lines. Friends are invited to share their memories of Robert with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, January 14, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate his life and faith will take place on Saturday, January 15 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 825 King St. W., Kitchener, at 11 a.m. A reception will follow.
