Obituary of Helen Kuntz
Passed away unexpectedly, at home, on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at the age of 81 years.
Helen is survived by her beloved husband Edward of 63 years, her three sons, Lawrence (Karen) of Waterloo, Paul of Toronto and Frank (Lisa) of Waterloo, her beloved grandchildren Michael (Julie), Melissa (Joe), Taylor and Matthew and her great grandchildren Hannah and Jacob. Helen will also be remembered as a dear sister to Eileen McManus of Elora and Margaret Weaver of Kitchener as well as a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Margaret (nee Siefred) Herman, sisters and brothers-in-law Mary (Enos) Cressman, Frances (Frank) Phelan, her brother and sister-in-law James (Nora) Herman and brothers-in-law Charles McManus and Willard Weaver
Helen loved gardening and quilting. She and Edward were founding members of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Waterloo; she was Past President and a devoted member of the Catholic Women's League.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Helen with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Sunday, January 23, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m and Monday, January 24 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Parish Prayers will be held Sunday evening at 8:45pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, 240 Hemlock Street, Waterloo on Tuesday, January 25 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Reception will be held in the Parish Hall of the Church.
