Obituary of Clare Esbaugh
It is with great sadness that the family of Clare Esbaugh announces his death at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Friday, February 4, 2011.
Beloved husband of the late Helen (Gies) 2002, loving father of Donna Jutzi and husband Dale, Murray and wife Leslie. Sadly missed by grandchildren Mark and Jill Jutzi, Stephen Esbaugh (Pam) and Amy Hamburger (Jason). Great grandfather of Boston Esbaugh and Cohen Hamburger Dear brother of Harold, Mary Dietrich, Terry Beaupre (Ken), Marcy Kellogg and Betty Phillips (Harry). Brother in-law of Bill Gies (Gertrude), Eileen Quehl, Marie Koroway, George Gies (Debbie), Ednamae Gies, Ken Gies (Terry), Frank Gies (Marilyn), Wilfred Zinger, John Logozny and many other nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, Albert and Hilda (Reidel) Esbaugh; brothers' Jerry, Joe and sister Rose (Kraemer). Predeceased also by in-laws Robert Dietrich, Bill Quehl, Grace Zinger, Florence Logozny, Gertrude and Gerald Zettle, Audrey Esbaugh, Terry Esbaugh, June Cowan, Laverne Kellogg, George Koroway and Thelma Esbaugh
Clare was a respected home builder in the Waterloo region. He was also instrumental in the building of St. Michael's church as one of its founding members.
The Esbaugh family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Sunday, February 6 from 4-8 p.m. and on Monday, February 7, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayer service will be held at 8: 45 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael's RC Church, 240 Hemlock St., Waterloo on Tuesday, February 8, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Cornelius J. O'Mahony as celebrant. Interment in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo, will be followed by a reception at the church.
