Obituary of Richard Bennett

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, February 14, 2011 at St. Mary's General Hospital. Richard was the founder and owner of TFS Group, Waterloo. Beloved husband of Ann for 15 years; father of Christopher Bennett and Bonnie Elliot; grandfather of Ross and Dean Bennett, and Shannon, Brittany and Ashley Elliot. Loving step-father of Christine Jovanovic (Julyan), Suzanne Keller (Christopher), and Jeffrey Dunnet (Colleen); loved grandfather of Rebecca Dunnet, Jackson and Jamie Keller, and Joshua and Kaitlyn Dunnet; dear brother of Doreen Smith (Art), and Kenneth Bennett, and brother-in-law of Iris Bennett. He also will be greatly missed by the family dogs, Chloe and Emma. Predeceased by a sister Margaret and her husband, Ken Kerrigan and brothers, Charles and Donald Bennett. A memorial service to celebrate Richard's life and faith will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mark Lewis officiating. A reception will follow at the University Club at the University of Waterloo.
