Obituary of Elaine Budan

Called to her heavenly home on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at the Village of Winston Park at the age of 84 years. Elaine is lovingly remembered by daughters, Darla Budan and Delma Hatzitolios, son-in-law Tom, granddaughters Chloe, Amelia and Hannah, sister Jackie Farnham, brother-in-law, Don and niece Lori. Predeceased by her husband Guenther (Gin), her parents Andrew and Adeline Schmidt, and her niece Cari. Elaine (Lainey) was happiest using her talents volunteering with a variety of organizations, including 11th Kitchener Scout Mothers, K-W Hospital Auxiliary and the Ladies' group at her home church. Deepest appreciation for the tender care Elaine has received from the staff of Winston Park Supportive Care and Long Term Care since 1998 - you became her extended family. Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, February 19, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Sunday, February 20 at 3 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 78 John St. W., Waterloo. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Reception to follow at the church.
