Obituary of Albert Sonnenberg

Peacefully went home to be with his Lord on Friday, February 18, 2011, at age 96. Beloved husband of the late Elfriede (2004). Loved father of Hank and Janet, Klaus, and Norman and Susan; loving Opa of Angela and Jay Pittman, Ryan and Amy Sonnenberg, Kristy and Danny Zacharias, Bob and Marlene Burbank, Mark, Emily, and Gillian Sonnenberg; great-grandfather of Caleb, Luke, Abigail, Joshua and Ashley, Sarita, Cole, Westley, and Emma; great-great-grandfather of Keera and dear brother of Ewald, and Frieda and Fritz in Germany. Predeceased by a son Rudy (1972) and siblings in Germany. Friends are invited to share their memories of Albert with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate his life and faith will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly, 395 King St. N., Waterloo at 11 a.m. with Rev. Marshall Eizenga officiating. A time of fellowship will immediately follow at the church. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
