Obituary of Maria Janzen

Maria passed away, peacefully, after a lengthy illness, at Leisureworld Care Giving Centre in Elmira, on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, in her 82nd year. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Cornelius Janzen (2004). Dear step-mother of Helmut (Renate) of Kitchener, Harry (Edith) of Brazil, Heinz (Erna), Elizabeth (Allan) and John (Irene), all of Kitchener. Maria will be remembered by her 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews and their families. Also predeceased by her parents, Johann and Anna Kasdorf, one sister, and five brothers. Maria was a member of Kitchener Mennonite Brethren Church. The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Leisureworld in Elmira. Relatives and friends are invited to the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, March 10, 2011 for visitation from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Vidya Narimalla officiating. Interment will follow in Niverville, Manitoba.
