Leo Buscaglia writes: “ancient Egyptians believed that upon death they would be asked two questions and their answers would determine whether they could continue their journey in the afterlife. The first question was, "Did you bring joy?" The second was, "Did you find joy?" I know that Stan’s answer would be yes to both questions. No matter how dark the moment, love and hope are always possible. Marg and family, my own words fail me at this moment so I borrow these words from William Wordsworth: "What though the radiance which was once so bright Be now forever taken from my sight, Though nothing can bring back the hour Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower; We will grieve not, rather find Strength in what remains behind; In the faith that looks through death..."

My mother, Arvilla, and I wish to extend our deepest sympathies to you ~ Marg and Nathan, to my cousins ~ Richard, Beatrice, Florence and Louise, and to all who loved Stan and mourn his death. I have a hard time believing his death and a harder time accepting it. Stan, you were so full of life and love with those mischievous twinkling eyes and your deep, rich laugh.
