Obituary of Mary Harper

Mary died at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Friday, March 11, 2011 at the age of 91. Mary was born in Toronto. After graduating from MacDonald Hall in Guelph she taught kindergarten in Toronto before making her home in Kitchener Waterloo. She was predeceased by her husband John M. Harper, July 10, 2008. Loving mother of William Jamieson (Jim) Harper and his wife Pauline of Waterloo, Susan and her husband John Palmer of Kitchener, and George H. Harper and his wife Doris of Waterloo. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren; John Harper and his wife Megan, Cynthia and her husband Derick Rose, Stephen Palmer, Jill Palmer and fiancee Danny Pacheco, Tania and her husband Allan Willensen and Tiffany and her husband Ron van Someren She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law Revs. Bette and Bill Pugh; sister-in-law Betty Jamieson and her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Clara (Dooe) and Dr. Ross Jamieson; brother William Jamieson; nephew Sandy Jamieson; niece Callie Jamieson and sister and brother-in-law Helen and Gordon Durnan. A private family service will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, in the chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
