Obituary of Sophie Kaupas

Passed away at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Kitchener on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at the age of 87 years. Daughter of the late Eduard and Maria Guentzel. Survived by her brother Alexander and his wife Christena Ginzel and her nephews, Edward and his wife Lynda Ginzel and Robert Ginzel and his wife Valerie Ames. Also survived by relatives in Germany and Poland. Mrs. Kaupas was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church, Kitchener and worked at The Mutual Life Assurance Company of Canada for 27 years. Friends are invited to share their memories of Sonja with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, March 18, 2011 from 12:00 to 12:45 pm. The funeral service to celebrate her life and faith will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow at the funeral home and interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
