Dear Randy & Janie Thank you for letting me know of your mom's passing, Randy. I've told you before how much I enjoyed her company whenever we met at Trinity, which, unfortunately was on very rare occasions. It was her sense of humour that we'll all miss. Because we are down here in Florida till April 1st, we'll be missing any visitation and/or service that you may be having. Nevertheless, we're with you in spirit. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your whole family and may your faith sustain you all at this time. God Bless. Sincerely Sandy & Jamie (Hill)

Dear Randy Please accept our warmest condolences and know that our thoughts are with you at this time. I speak for Martine, Noelie, Luderic and myself when I say that it was a real pleasure to have met your mother and to have spent time with her. Your news really took me by surprise. I knew that she was over 90, but seemed so much younger and so lucid, when we saw her last summer. She was a formidable lady, and it was always with great pleasure that we would sit and talk with her, so full of life, real courage and good humour. Thinking of her, and the times that we spent at the cottage, brings a smile to my face; a smile that is now saddened with the knowledge that she is no longer here, but a smile that will remain whenever I think of her. As you say, truly a remarkable lady. Goodnight, Noreen. Thank you for the privilege of having known you - I don’t think that they make them like you any more. Thinking of you, Randy, and all the family. John (More) [France]

Dear Randy, Jane & Katherine We were so sorry to hear of your mom's passing... she was such an alive with-it person... an amazing lady. We have so many fond memories of Noreen at Sand Lake. All those years of the party after the Turkey shoot, coming over in the boat and hanging out on your beach and many dinners with you and the Prichards, just to mention a few. Since we moved to the U.S. 12 years ago and Ian only getting 2 weeks off in the summer, we have not seen you as much as we used to but we still feel connected. We wanted you all to know we are thinking of you at this difficult time. Your mom's spirit & Love will always be in your hearts as well as so many others. With deep sympathy... Love and Peace Mary Louise & Ian (Hartley)

Monday, March 28, 2011
Dear Randy & Jane Our hearts pour out to you at this time. I'm crying as I type so forgive the spelling mistakes. I so enjoyed visiting with your Mom at the cottage. I still have the pictures of her furniture that she wanted to get more of. We love you all and it sure is awesome that she turned to the Lord's prayer near the end. I know she respected you and I'm sure she was listening to your strong example of belief that makes a difference. I think of all the letters to the editor you wrote to take up causes pleasing to the Lord. She noticed... I think of your book... I think of all the generous giving of time, money, free rent... she noticed... Our prayers go up to our awesome Lord and Saviour who comforts the mourning. My Mom & Dad return on Tuesday. I will hug them extra long. Take care. God Bless Bruce & Barb (Ballantyne)

Randy I am sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Grief is for a season, but how can we forget our mother's love? May warm memories pierce the pain of loss as you celebrate the woman who, in God's plan, gave you life and modelled the values that guide you still, day to day.
