Obituary of Marie Damman

DAMMAN, Marie Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, Friday March 25, 2011 at St. Mary's General Hospital at the age of 80 years. Dear mother of Janice Hill (Gord), John (Kathryn) and Nancy (Dave). She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Tamara (Shane), Christopher (Jessica), Sabrina (Jeno), Spencer, Emily and Jessica and her great granddaughters Madison, Jordyn, Makenna, Akadia and Alexis. She is predeceased by her beloved husband John (2010), her parents (Ruth and Louis Foisey) and her sister (Alice). Remembering her always, she is survived by her brother John Foisey (Gloria) as well as her furry companion Fluffy. Mom will always be remembered for her adventures with dad on Grandma and Grandpa's Hog, where she would ride in the sidecar and knit. We fondly remember her creative and unique crafts, her love of cooking and playing euchre. Mom was a dedicated member of the Kitchener Waterloo Naval Association Ladies Auxiliary and leaves behind many dear friends, especially Joan and Jean. Our sincere thanks to the wonderful doctors and nurses at St. Mary's General Hospital for the care and compassion they showed our mom. Friends are invited to share their memories of Marie with her family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday March 28, 2011 from 6-9pm. A celebration of Marie's life will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, on Tuesday March 29, 2011 at 1pm. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
