Obituary of Joseph Cormier

Born July 4, 1922, passed away at KW Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, on Friday March 25, 2011 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband to Yvonne. Father to Richard, Lu and Jean, forever. Father-in-law to Patricia. Dear grandfather to Michael. Truly, a remarkable gentleman! His values, integrity, kindness, love and generosity will be remembered and cherished forever by many relatives and friends. World War II Veteran - he served in the Canadian Army in Canada, United Kingdom, Central Mediterranean area and Continental Europe. Vince was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 266, Toronto. He was a Canada Post employee for 32 years. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the exceptional healthcare professionals at Grand River Hospital, Freeport Medical Centre and St. Mary's Hospital. A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
