Dear Erna, Stuart, Janice, Victor, Michael, Anthony and Marcus, My heart goes out to all of you, at this very difficult time. Since the news of Jim's passing I have been flooded with wonderful memories of him. I remember him as a man of dignity, grace and generosity. I particularly remember an occasion with Jim, when he gave of his time and sage advice, with kindness and compassion. It was a meaningful time for Brad and I, as a young couple, to be inspired by Jim's insights and encouragement on life and success. Erna, Janice and Stuey, What wonderful memories I have of growing up on the farm with your family as our "neighbours across the lane". Many times I would be cutting the grass on the golf course and Mr. Letson and Stubby would come over to practice chipping! Or the time when the dads caught the rainbow trout in the pond, and Mrs. Letson made me eat it, but promised I wouldn't taste fish-and she was right!(all the garlic and butter). Thanks for being in my life, for watching me go through the teen years and coming to my wedding 20 years ago! May all of the memories you have of your husband and dad, get you to tomorrow.
