Obituary of Lloyd Kean

Passed away peacefully at the Westmount on Sunday, April 3, 2011, age 94 years. Born in Guelph, Ontario March 3, 1917. A member of Calvin Presbyterian Church in Kitchener and a past member of Eden Mills Presbyterian Church. Beloved husband of Winnifred Kean (Green). Dear father of Myra Henhoeffer (Philip) of Cambridge and Emily Martin (Craig) of Breslau. Will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Ryan Henhoeffer, Gwyneth and Declan Martin. Also survived by a sister Vera Packer of Elora. Predeceased by his parents Gerald Kean and Edna Kean (Wilson), a sister Ismey Bird and a brother in infancy. Mr. Kean's family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate his life and faith will take place on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Calvin Presbyterian Church 248 Westmount Rd. E., Kitchener with Rev. Mark Gedcke officiating. Reception will follow the service in the church hall, followed by the interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
