I was sadden to learn of Dr. Braden's passing and was a bit surprised too. He seemed so vital despite his advanced age it seemed that he'd go on forever. I got to know Dr. Braden a little when I played for chapel services at the Sunnyside Home and he would give the sermon. Dr. Braden was there at the invitation of Gerry Morehouse who led the worship and Leroy Soper, a wonderful tenor was there to sing.Together they made quite an impressive trio. What I remember the most about Dr. Braden was how strong his faith was and how well he made soldiered on into old age. For me he was a great role model. With my condolences, Liz Blanchett

WE HAD MANY GOOD TIMES WITH OUR SPECIAL FRIEND HORACE WHILE ATTENDING NCC. HE WAS A PRECIOUS MAN THAT YOU COULDN'T HELP LOVING. HE WILL BE TRULY MISSED BY MANY. EVERY CHURCH NEEDS A HORACE.
