Obituary of Diane Waugh

After a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's, Diane passed away at Sunnyside Home in Kitchener, on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at the age of 65. Beloved wife of Mancel Waugh for 44 years. Loving mother of Dee Ann Broatch and Michelle Mechergui and grandma of Christopher Broatch, Krystle Harper, Jessica Broatch, Ashley Harper, and Ryan Harper. Dear sister of Laverne Becker (Jan), Dennis Becker (Lori), Elaine Szigatti (Paul), Gerald Becker (Debbie), and Kathy Verstege (Ben). Predeceased by her parents, Menno and Eileen (nee Wettlaufer) Becker and her infant grandson, Justin Harper. Diane was a dedicated employee of Piller's Sausages and Delicatessen for over 30 years. She was a member of Mount Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waterloo. Diane's passion in life was gardening. Visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, April 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Krister Ulmanis officiating. Following the service, a reception will be held in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo will follow the reception.
