Obituary of Lillian Peirce

Lillian passed away peacefully on April 15, 2011 at the Cambridge Country Manor Nursing Home where she was well loved and given excellent care. Lillian was 91 years old. Dear mother of Timothy Peirce of Fergus and Lori Drover of Wasaga Beach; cherished grandmother of Tammy Lynn Drover. Lillian will be lovingly remembered by her sister Doris Hamm (nee Bond) of Oakville, nieces and nephews and friends. Lillian was predeceased by her husband Allan Peirce (1977); sisters Ruth Bond, Eunice Bond, Berith Jessop, Vera Kunkel, Arthura Nicholas, and Brothers Thomas and James Bond. Cremation has taken place. Lillian served in the Royal Canadian Air Force Women's Division during World War II, while her brothers Tom and James served in the Royal Canadian Air Force. She enjoyed her career as a valued secretary at the University of Toronto and then at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo until her retirement. A memorial service is to be held on Saturday, April 30 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo.
