Obituary of Lillian Bowman

Passed away suddenly at St. Mary's General Hospital on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 age 81 years. Lillian was born in North Easthope Township on March 31, 1930. A member of Calvary Memorial United Church in Kitchener and was a volunteer for 35 years at the Freeport Health Centre Gift Shop. Loving wife and best friend of Vernon Bowman. Dear mother of Paul Bowman of Kitchener, Lois Riehl and her husband Keith of Cambridge. Treasured grandmother to Chantelle (Mike), Damien (Heidi), Laycee (Mike), Jason (Tanis), Ashley, Robin (Adam), Michelle (Tony); great grandmother of Maia and Nicholas, Darren, Donovan, Devin, Malachi and Maya, Declan, Ethan and Alex, Dominic and Stone, Zachary and Cameron. Also survived by her sisters Irene Eidt of New Hamburg, Grace Eidt of Waterloo and a brother-in-law Rev. George Sim of Waterloo. Predeceased by a great granddaughter Cheyenne, sisters Gertrude Richardson, Idella Sim; brother Lincoln Mohr, sister-in-law Betty Mohr; brothers-in-law Alfred Richardson, Lloyd Eidt and Burton Eidt. The memorial service to celebrate Lillian's life will take place in the chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Lynne Bandy officiating. The family will receive friends during the reception which will follow the memorial service in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
