I just found out that Alfred passed away. The memories of living next door to the Beckers are good ones. I remember seeing Alfred in McDonald's on Lakeshore one evening in 1971 I believe, dressed in his decorated jean jacket and high platform shoes which I believe had the American flag on them - what a caracter. Then I saw him at the wedding of his sister Liz and couldn't believe the different man standing there. My deepest sympathies to everyone in the family.

Al, May your spirit travel quietly until it reaches the next life. May your body and mind rest in peace. To those of us left behind may we do our best to remember the best of Al, his great laugh, his strong will which often go in the way of himself...he was Al. To one of God's Angels, my sister Elizabeth (Liz) for her kindness in taking time from her life to care for Al's needs in his final days. May God bless her richly for doing so. Please know that even though I can't be there for the service, I'll be with you all in spirit gently shedding a tear for you....love, Beverley.
