A beautiful day to say goodbye to such a beautiful woman. Leslie was beautiful inside and out. A wonderful wife, mother, daughter, aunt and friend. I only knew her for the time she was at Lisaard House and she stole a piece of my heart. I wish I had met her before her coming there. We had many laughs together. She even made my skin better,by making me do her night face care routine with her. I will never forget that, it was so much fun. I am honoured to have been able to make Leslie feel better for a bit. I could see in her eyes how much she enjoyed having her hair done. I will be thinking of you all on this very sad day.I wish I could be there, but I have been called into work and won't be able to make it. Thank-you for letting me into your lives for such a short time. Leslie was an amazing person taken so young. Leslie will have a piece of my heart forever. Big Hugs Cathy Walsh

It is with incredible sadness I learned today of Leslie's passing. She and I grew up together in Brampton, as next door neighbours for 20 years on Lockton Cres., and I have so many fond childhood memories of us playing and growing up together. I hadn't seen Leslie much over the past 25 years, but I thought of her often, and I will always remember her as a kind and loving person with a beautiful smile, who will forever hold a special place in my heart. My thoughts are with you Mrs. Cole - Joanne, but always Mrs. Cole to me - Cindy, Don and your families. Leslie is today sitting somewhere peaceful, holding hands with her Dad.
