Obituary of Margot Alderdice

Margot passed away, peacefully, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Monday, May 2, 2011 at the age of 85. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Bill Alderdice in 1995. Loving mother of Ted Alderdice and wife June of St. Jacobs and Jane Alderdice and husband Frank Rooney of Toronto. Nanny to Jennifer (Jeremy) and Eric (Lara) and Nana to Aidan, Claire, and Patrick. Predeceased by her parents, William and Nora (Sparling) Hurd and her brother, Bill Hurd. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Margot during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 6 to 7:15 p.m., followed by the memorial service in the chapel at 7:30 p.m. A reception will immediately follow the service at the funeral home.
