Obituary of Mable Brubacher

Passed away on Monday, May 2, 2011 at Columbia Forest in Waterloo. Mrs. Brubacher was a member of Erb St. Mennonite Church. Mother of Linda Hammer (Ross). Grandmother of Aleisha Weber (Jeff) of Innerkip and Shannon Hammer (Sheri) of Georgetown. Great-grandmother of Shanelle and Mitchell Weber and Chloe Hammer. Sister of Elmer Bechtel of Goshen, Indiana, Verna Bechtel of Kitchener, Florence (Donald) Moncur of Waterloo, Bernice Moncur of Tavistock and Beatrice Meirowski of Kitchener. Also survived by sisters-in-law Rose Bechtel of Waterloo and Doris Bechtel of Kitchener and brother-in-law Hubert Mellow of Ottawa. Predeceased by her parents Maryetta and Eden Bechtel, her husband Abram Brubacher, sister Vera Mellow, brothers Clayton and Willard Bechtel, brother-in-law Clayton Meirowski and also Marcel Reier. The Brubacher family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. Private family interment will take place at Erb St. Mennonite Cemetery on Friday. Following the interment, a memorial service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 3 p.m. with Rev. Eleanor Epp-Stobbe officiating. Visitation and Reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
