Obituary of Gordon Reading

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Hospice Wellington in Guelph, age 93. Husband of the late Ivy Reading. Dear father of Sharon Lowry of Woodstock, Nancy Reading of Moncton. N.B., Connie Reading of Waterloo and Jeanne (Wanda) Scott of Thousand Oaks, California. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren, Janine, Thomas, Leanne, Mary Jeanne, Paul and Trevor, Angela and Andrew, Mark, Wesley, Noelle and Jayson. Also survived by numerous great and great great grandchildren. Predeceased by his daughter Patricia Reading and grandson Vince. A memorial service to celebrate Gordon's life will take place on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo. The Reading family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and also during the reception which will follow the funeral in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
