Obituary of Joan Chelew

Passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the age of 75 years. Beloved daughter of the late Bill and Vera Slade of Belleville. Loving mother of Judy (John Caruso), Peter and Steven (Diana); dear grandmother of Joel and Jillian Caruso and David Chelew. Cherished sister of Diane (Roger Pugh). Joan will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased also by her sister Heather (Tom Drake). Honoring Joan's wishes cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to share their memories of Joan with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday May 30, 2011 from 11 until the time of the memorial service at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel.
