Obituary of Sara Hinzel

HINZEL, Sara 1923 - 2011 Sara passed away peacefully at the Village of Winston Park, Kitchener on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 in her 88th year. Beloved wife and life partner of Michael Hinzel for 66 years. Dear mother of Reinhold Hinzel and wife Siiri of Toronto and Erwin Hinzel and wife Cheryl of Uxbridge. Oma of Kristina (Kristian), Deborah (Jarrad), Robert (Janet), Andrea (Kevin), Matthew, and Eric; and Great-Oma of Markus, Zackery, Aleksandra, Jacob, Emery, Brayden, Kyla, and Anika. Survived by her sister-in-law, Maria Konyen of Toronto. Predeceased by her brother, Michael Konyen. Sara was a long-time member of the Transylvania Club of Kitchener and Bethel Lutheran Church in Kitchener. Visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, June 2 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. Interment at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Kitchener. A reception will follow in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room.
