Obituary of Christina Mol

Passed away peacefully at Luther Village on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the age of 85 years. Survived by her children, Josephine and Jerry Bartelse of Cambridge, Ed Mol of Bergen Holland, Nicolette Mol and Fred of Papendrecht Holland, Lucienne and Jeroen Hollestelle of Prague Czech Republic, her grandchildren Jurian and Jessie, Christel, Calou, Tom, Wout, Dewi, Sebastian and great-grandchildren Pieter, Bridget and Ivan. She is also survived by her sisters Jopie and husband Jan Van der Toorn and Reina Brouwer. Tina was predeceased by her beloved husband Johannes and her parents Reindert and Johanna Nijhoff. Tina was born in Holland December 13, 1925. Together with her husband, they moved to Waterloo in 1981. They enjoyed travelling and were active in the Social Committee at Willowells. Tina was involved in fundraising with the yearly Angel Tree campaign. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the staff of Luther Village for their excellent care. A funeral service to celebrate Tina's life will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, June 4 at 11:00 am. A reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Cremation will take place and interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
