Obituary of Annie Pelger

Passed away unexpectedly on June 8, 2011 at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, at the age of 82. Cherished mother of John Jr. (Lois), Marianne Loan and David (Susan). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jessica, Cortney, Shannon, Jason, Sydney, and Matthew, and great-granddaughter Rhya. Dear sister of Elisabeth Lang, aunt of only nephew Henry Lang and nieces Elisabeth Jung and Katherine Lang. Predeceased by her beloved husband John of 52 years, and her parents Henry (1971) and Elisabeth (1988) Lehmann. Annie was born in Hungary in 1929, the year her father immigrated to Montreal to seek a better life. Nineteen years passed before she met her father. Friends are invited to share their memories of Annie with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, June 10 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, June 11 at 10 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
