Obituary of Christel Henricks

Mutti passed away suddenly June 10, 2011 at Grey Bruce Hospital at age 86. Beloved wife of the late Fritz Bruno Theodor Hendricks (2009). She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Edelgard (Henry) Friesen, Elvira (Albert) Weber, Fred (Heather) Hendricks, Chris (Harold) Steffler, and Maran Hendricks. Loved Oma of Monica and David Friesen, Christa and Katie Hendricks, Rebecca (Matt) Stewart, and Tessa (Christopher) Le Boeuf; dear sister of Adelheid, in Belgium, and aunt of nieces in Germany. Born in Germany, Christel and Fritz were married on June 12, 1943 and came to Canada in 1956 with their four children and settled in Kitchener, where their fifth child was born. They later moved to the farm in Mildmay in 1963 where they resided for the remainder of their lives. Predeceased by her parents, one brother and three sisters. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A private family service will be held at a later date.
