Obituary of Ernst Himsl

Passed away at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Friday, June 17, 2011 after a courages battle with Multiple Myeloma. Ernst is survived by his wife Monika, son, Ernie, and daughter, Michelle, her fiancé John Dunne, his sisters Rosa Raudaschl (Helmut), Gertraud Koelblinger (Kamillo) brother Walter (Doreen), brother in law of Christine and Anton Weninger and Waltraud and Anton Hufnagl. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Crescencia and Matthias Himsl. He will be dearly missed by his canine companion Zebbie. Ernst was a former member of SME and was employed as manufacturing engineer until his retirement. The family wishes to extend a special Thank You to Dr. Bonnie McCarran and her nursing assistant, to the nursing and support staff on the 6th floor at Grand River Hospital and the CCAC of Waterloo and Elgin County for their dedication and support they gave during this difficult time. Friends are invited to share their memories of Ernst with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday June 25th from 9:30 - 10:15 am. The funeral service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 am. A reception will follow in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room.
