Obituary of Aly Deen

Peacefully, Aly went home to be with Jesus, at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Monday, June 20, 2011 at age 78. Predeceased by her beloved husband Hendrick Deen on June 5, 2008. Much loved mother of Gertie (Ken), the late Hilbert (Myrna), Nancy, Jackie (Leo), the late Joanne (the late Randy), and John (Allegra). Aly will also be sadly missed by her 24 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; predeceased by two grandchildren in infancy. She is survived by her sister Niske and brother-in-law Klaas of The Netherlands and sister-in-law Betty Deen of Drayton. Aly was a member of Waterloo Christian Reformed Church and a long-time member of the 404 Wing. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Aly at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St., S., Waterloo on Thursday, June 23 from 1:00 - 1:45 p.m., followed by the service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m., Thursday. A reception will immediately follow the service in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room.
