Obituary of Mary Shebrek

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at St. Mary's General Hospital, on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at the age of 75 years. Mary is survived by her three sons, Stephen and his wife Sheryl Shebrek, Andrew Shebrek and Mark and his wife Heather Shebrek, beloved grandchildren, Matthew, Julia, Nicole and Ashlyn all of Kitchener. Also survived by her three sisters, Pat Draves, Eileen (Neil) Corbett, Kitty Almost and one brother Harry Sullivan. Mary was predeceased by her husband Michael and daughter Katherine. Mary was employed with the Waterloo Region Catholic School board for many years until her retirement and she will be remembered for devoting much of her time to nurturing and educating children. Friends are invited to share their memories of Mary with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, June 30, 2011 from 9:00 am to 9:45 am. A memorial service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 10:00 am. A reception will be held in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Cremation will have taken place and interment will be held at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
