Obituary of Robert Leppington

Leppington, Robert Charles 1944 - 2011 Passed away on Friday, July 1, 2011, with family by his side, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 67 years. Resident of Foxboro Green in Baden. Husband of Margaret and father of Gregory and Susan Simpson (Peter Heise). Loving grandfather to Samantha and Sierra Simpson (Shaelyn and Joel Heise). Brother of Joan Miller (John). Bob retired from the Kitchener Fire Department after thirty years of service. He coached minor and K.F.D. hockey, and was an active member of the Foxboro community. He enjoyed golfing and his winters in Florida. Thank you to Dr. Husien and nurses who gave our family great care. Following Bob's personal wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will take place at the Erb & Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, July 6 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Williamsburg Cemetery, 1541 Fisher Hallman Rd., Kitchener for those wishing to attend. Following the interment, everyone is invited to Foxboro Green Community Centre, 95 Erbs Rd. W., Baden for lunch and to share stories.
