Obituary of John Palmer
John died suddenly at home on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at age 67, with his daughter Jill by his side.
He is survived by his wife Susan, son Stephen and daughter Jill Palmer and fiancé Danny Pacheco. He will also be greatly missed by his loving granddaughters, Calleigh (six years old) and Grace (eight weeks old). John had a special love and quality time that any grandfather would love to have had with Calleigh and had the chance to meet Grace. You could always find John on the soccer field Saturdays, watching Calleigh play soccer.
John was employed at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce for 35 years and retired in 2007. He was a past treasurer of the Westmount Rotary Club of Westmount Golf and Country Club. He was also an active member of the Lions Club in Paris, Ontario. His greatest place of peace and love was Sanibel Island, Florida and called it his own little secret of existence.
Special thanks to the attending Paramedics and Waterloo Regional Police.
