Obituary of David Ernst

Dave passed away, peacefully in his sleep, at Lanark Place in Kitchener on Thursday, July 7, 2011, at the age of 81. Dave is survived by his children, Rick and wife Bonnie of Waterloo, Gary of Kitchener, Janet Belanger and husband Claude of Kitchener, Davie of Waterloo, and David of Kitchener; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Dave retired from Carling's/Labatt's after 47 years of service. The family wishes to thank the staff and residents of Lanark Place for their kindness, patience, and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Dave's family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home on Saturday, July 16, 2011 from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m., followed by the memorial service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room. Interment at Memory Gardens, Breslau at a later date.
