Obituary of Isabella Gardner

It is with great sadness that our family announces the sudden passing of Isabella, at St-Mary's hospital in Kitchener, late Tuesday July 12th. She was predeceased by her loving and proud parents, Dan and Mardie Dempsey of Sebringville. She was sadly widowed almost eleven years ago by the loss of her beloved husband and best friend Robert. Her memory will continue in the hearts of her children, of whom she was so proud, David Gardner and Heather Fraser. Their spouses, Colette and Scott, will forever miss their amazing mother-in-law. The joys of her life were her six grandchildren - Cameron, Jake, Marlee, Sam, Sophie and McKenna - forever their "Ama". Isabella was the dearest sister to Ardis Dempsey (Twyla) of Kanata and Robert (Mary Ann) Dempsey of Aurora. She will also be greatly missed by her brothers-in-law, Donald (Mary Lou) Gardner of Kitchener and Doug Gardner (Lesley) of Mississauga. Her many nieces and nephews will always hold a special place in their hearts for her. Isabella had an extraordinary talent for making and keeping friends. Her love of life, sense of humour, intelligence and gentle spirit made her a cherished "best" friend to countless people lucky enough to know her. Friends are invited to share their memories of Isabella with her family, during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S. Waterloo ON on Saturday, July 16 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The service to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Sunday, July 17 at 11 a.m. A reception will follow. Cremation and interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to the Renal Dialysis Unit at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener.
