Obituary of Ashraf Ramzy

Passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at the age of 59. Ashraf is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Kathy McKechnie. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him will always remember his passion for life, faith, conversation, cooking and new adventures. He will be sadly missed by his son, Aymen Abdullah and wife Nita, and daughter, Mariam Ramzy and husband Mohammed of Surrey, B.C, Chris McKechnie and wife Dawn, Erin Arnold and husband Jason, and his very much loved grandchildren, Yousff, Adam, Nathaniel, Sloane, Maxim and Vaughan, his mother Nadia, sister Mona, of Cairo, Egypt and their families. Predeceased by his father Osman and brother Hassan. Ashraf will be fondly remembered by all his extended family and friends. Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 18, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. from the Waterloo Masjid, 213 Erb St. W., Waterloo. Interment will follow at Williamsburg Cemetery, Kitchener.
