Obituary of Dolorese Walters

The family of Dolorese Walters announces her peaceful passing on July 20, 2011 at home surrounded by family, at the age of 87. Beloved mother of Jo-Anne, Patrick, and Mary Ann (Ian). Cherished Grandma of Jason (Jen), Rebecca (Jan), Brandon (Rebekah), Crystal, Scott (Kat), Kevin and Hiroki. Loved Great-Grandma of Felicia, Braydon, Hannah and Grace. Dear sister of Nin. Grandma Del or Grandma-Zeeta to many people she adored and who adored her. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and extended family. Having lived a full and beautiful life Dolorese is now at peace, celebrating a joyful reunion with her husband Joseph. Dolorese was a Foster Parent for the Waterloo CCAS, an active member of the Waterloo Legion, Hamilton Central Lions Club and volunteer for CHOICES of Dundas for many years. Friends are invited to share their memories of Dolorese with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Sunday July 24, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with Parish Prayers at 3:30 p.m. A Legion Memorial Service will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Louis RC Church, 53 Allen St. E., Waterloo on Monday, July 25 at 9 a.m. the Rev. Tim Uniac CR as Celebrant. A reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 530, 19 Regina St. N. Waterloo. Cremation with interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau will be held at a later date.
