Obituary of Hermann Heeschen

Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener on July 23, 2011, at the age of 82. Survived by his wife Susanne of 58 years. Loving father of Elvira Mantei (David) and Michael Heeschen. Also survived by his brother Kurt Heeschen of Germany. After immigrating to Canada in 1951, Hermann worked in a variety of trades before retiring in 1991. A long time and active member of the Transylvania Club, Hermann was well liked and respected in the Saxon community. The Family will receive friends for visitation at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Tuesday July 26, 2011 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery will be followed by a reception.
