Obituary of Margaret Timm
It is with immense sadness and deep sorrow that our family announces the loss of an incredibly loving wife, an amazing mom, a wonderful sister and a fantastic nana on Tuesday, August 9, 2011. She was taken from us so quickly. Her death played out like her life, as she continued to be a model of love, dignity, courage and grace. Amidst her suffering, her priority was the care and concern for those around her. Her wish, to be surrounded by family at home, was granted.
Marg spent the last half of her life serving her community in our local food industry where she worked tirelessly and with great love: catering to our local businesses, most recently with Seven Shores Café in downtown Waterloo where she was adored by all who came in contact with her.
She is predeceased by her parents, James and Rose Warden; and her brother, Bill. She leaves behind her soulmate of 45 years, Gerry; her three children, Leslie Brown, Murray Timm and wife Wendy, Valerie Shaw and husband Scott; sister, Dorothy Schulz and husband Bob; brother, Jim Warden and wife Marilyn; sisters-in-law, Anna Warden and Barb Arndt; nine grandchildren; and ten nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by friends at her Margaret Place residence.
Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Marg during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, August 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 11 a.m. Following the service, everyone is invited to the Fireside Reception Room for lunch and a time to visit with the family. Interment at Parkview Cemetery will follow the reception.
As expressions of sympathy, condolences for the family and memorial donations to Guelph Wellington Women in Crisis can be arranged by contacting the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
