Obituary of June Gellatly

June passed away, surrounded by family, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Monday, August 22, 2011. She was 85. Beloved wife of the late James Harold Gellatly, who passed away in 2008. Loving mother of Judith Rourke and her husband Rodney of Mississauga, Tracey Pastrik and her husband Eckhard of Waterloo, and Kimberley Gellatly of Waterloo. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Robert Rourke and his wife Maya; Allan Rourke and his wife Emily; Alexandra and Carley Pastrik; and great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Olivia, Gracie, Amalie and Wylie Rourke. Survived by sister Patricia (Lloyd) Hamel of Kitchener, sister-in-law Shirley Knack of Kitchener, and brothers-in-law Doug Gellatly (Marion) of Cobourg and Bruce (Audrey) Gellatly of Courtney, B.C. Beloved aunt of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by son Larry, in 1972, and parents, Burton and Leah (South) Swartz. Friends and relatives are invited to join June's family for a service to celebrate her life on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo. Cremation has taken place. Following the service, everyone is invited to the Fireside Reception Room for refreshments and a time to visit with the family.
