Obituary of Carl Cayer

Carl Cayer passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at the age of 68. He is predeceased by his wife Mary-Louise. Father of Suzanne (Matthew Bourque) and Anne-Marie (Nathaniel Huard). Grand-Papa to Jean-Pierre, Céleste, Alexandre and Arielle Bourque. Brother to Lyse, Marc (Monique), Marcia (Karl), Randy (Manon) and Noreen (Steve). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Carl taught in the Halton County School Board and for many years for the Waterloo Region District School Board. Since his retirement, he has been very active in tennis, badminton and volleyball while earning medals at the Waterloo-Wellington Senior Games in swimming. Carl also served on the Mayor's Advisory Committee for several terms. Throughout his life Carl was able to pursue his love of travel which took him many places, where he made many friends, and delighted in different cultures, languages, and music. At Carl's request friends and family are invited to a social gathering on Friday, September 9th.
