Obituary of Robert Koppeser

KOPPESER, Robert "Bob" Passed away peacefully, on Thursday, September 8, 2011, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 92. Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Doris, of almost 69 years, daughters Susan (George) Malon, Gail (Brian) Harper and grandchildren Stephanie (Travis) Oldfield and Michael Malon. He is also survived by his brothers George, Louis (Nancy) and his sister Doris. Robert was predeceased by his brothers William, John and Woodrow and sisters Ruth and Esther. Bob was a salesman in the building supply industry throughout the K-W area for many years. He also enjoyed traveling and fishing. However, his greatest joy was his family. Friends are invited to share their memories of Robert with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Friday, September 16, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Robert's life and faith will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 136 Margaret Ave., Kitchener, on Saturday, September 17, at 11:00 a.m with Rev. Robin Korsch officiating. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall. Cremation and interment will take place at a later date.
